Having approached the Victoria and Albert Museum with the project, I have been unsuccessful in negotiating the installation of my sculpture.
A brief outline of the project is as follows:
A sculpture would be placed around the forearm of the right arm of the cast of Michelangelo's David, to give the appearance of a badly repaired break in the arm.
The sculpture would be made to correspond with the circumference of the forearm, as measured by the Victoria and Albert Museum.
A suitable silicon rubber, would give a good surface and cast well, giving a glossy white finish.
The sculpture would in no way harm the cast of David.
